Kaya Balls - Bean Garden Malaysia

Bean Garden in Kepong Village Mall

Kaya balls, cute little dome-shaped snacks filled with kaya (coconut jam) are freshly made and sold at Bean Garden.

Piping the kaya balls batter into the mould

After the kaya and more batter is piped in, it takes about 5 minutes to be cooked

Second batch of kaya balls in the making

Yummy yummy kaya balls, best eaten when they are piping hot!

These kaya balls are quite commonly found in Malaysia shopping centres and are reasonably priced. They make delightful and yummy tea time snacks and are an irresistible treat for young and old alike.

Holiday travel tips:-
Beware if you are eating them piping hot, do not pop the whole kaya ball into your mouth as the filling inside can burn your mouth... :P
