Malaysia Kuala Lumpur And Malacca 25/8 – 29/8/2010

Leaving with my friends Lisa & Lionel to Kuala Lumpur on 25th Aug, we started the drive into Malaysia at 0800 hrs. Our main purpose for going into Malaysia this time round was to meet up with friends and have a ‘Get Real’ Evening tonight as well as tomorrow night.

Taking our time to get to Kuala Lumpur, we stopped by Machap Rest & Relaxation for breakfast. We love the Malay food here and we enjoyed the authentic Malaysian breakfast.

Going on, we stopped again at Ayer Keroh Rest & Relaxation just to stretch our legs before moving on to Kuala Lumpur. We made good timing and reached Kuala Lumpur Malaysia at 1300 hrs.

Since we were in Kuala Lumpur, we decided to visit Antswork Communications Showroom to check out some packaging materials and supplies. However, we could not locate the location on our Garmin Global Positioning System and had to call them for directions. We finally found their showroom; which was located in a condominium in Sri Petaling.

We checked out the café at Endah Puri to have lunch since the person with whom we had an appointment was having lunch. We tried some foods including the hokkien mee and loh shee fun, different versions of noodles which were not too bad and reasonably priced.

Next we went to Antswork and admired some of the uniquely designed boxes and discussed prices of some of the packaging designs which we were interested in.

After more than an hour there, we made our way to our Malaysia accommodation for the night, Blessings Homestay in Bangsar Park. Located within 10 minutes walking distance of Bangsar LRT station and 5 minutes drive to Mid Valley Mega Mall, Blessings Homestay is uniquely designed as a quiet and eco-sensitive home; built with a combination of recycled and modern materials.

After taking a short break there and freshening up, we made our way to Eco-Oasis café, 1km away from Blessings Homestay. Here, we would be meeting up with some of our warrior friends at 2000 hrs and having a Get Real evening, a session designed to show how one could gain more clarity in one’s life.

It was a wonderful meeting session and although the session ended at 2230 hrs, we did not leave till after midnight as one of our friends stayed behind to connect further.

We finally returned to Blessings Homestay, our Malaysia accommodation for the night in Kuala Lumpur, after a long fruitful day.
