 The Notre Dame de Paris (French for our Lady of Paris) is widely considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture.  Also known as the Notre Dame Cathedral, it is the cathedral of the Catholic Archdiocese of Paris.

Construction of the Cathedral of Notre Dame Paris started in 1163 and was finally effectively completed by 1345.
