Radisson Amsterdam Airport Hotel |
Leaving our Amsterdam accommodation Radisson Blu Amsterdam Airport Hotel after breakfast, we started our journey to Paris via Brussels. A journey that would normally take about 7 hours, we were prepared for a longer journey due to the heavy snow condition.
We arrived in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, and made a photo stop at one of the main tourist attractions in Brussels:- the iconic Brussels Atomium, a 102 metres high metal representation of a crystal molecule.

After stopping for a photo shoot of the famous Brussels icon, we headed for a lunch at Chaochow City, a Brussels Chinese Restaurant.

After lunch, we went for a short walk to the Grand Place, one of the main tourist attractions in Brussels, where we saw some beautiful buildings.

We passed by this lovely building which we thought was an unlikely building for a stock exchange.

Another world famous icon, the Mannekin Pis dressed in Santa's clothes.
Holiday Travel Tips:-
If you are visiting Europe, one of the best places to buy chocolates would be in Brussels. Visit the Chocolatier Mannekin Pis, just around the corner by the Mannekin Pis statue and you can get the Mannekin Pis chocolates and truffles. These make great presents and are most delicious. You can try some of the chocolates too. If you intend to buy in bulk, you can ask for a better price.

We next continued on our journey to Paris and arrived for in time for a Chinese dinner at Fontaine de Jade, a Thai Chinese restaurant in Paris, before checking into our next accommodation, Pullman Bercy Hotel Paris.
