Holidays to Malaysia have always been fascinating for us especially when we get to see various Malaysia attractions. It is time for our highlands holiday to end. Today we even managed to visit Seremban Malaysia to have another go at their baked crab and steamed crabs. We managed to fit in some Malaysia shopping as well. Attached here are the highlands flowers and full moon images that we managed to snap some photos of too.

Day 3 was a leisurely day for us since we had cancelled our appointment with Pines Resort. We headed for breakfast at 0830 hrs. Today breakfast was served buffet style unlike yesterday. Looks like weekends and public holidays will see a buffet style breakfast. As with yesterday, there were sausages, baked beans, toast and eggs. In addition, there were also local delights such as nasi lemak (coconut rice) with the various side dishes, fried noodles/fried rice as well as plain porridge and watermelon pieces.

We checked out after breakfast, and headed down The Gap at 1015 hrs. Although the road was very narrow and winding, we wound down the windscreen to take advantage of the cool mountain air. By doing so, it helped to reduce the vertigo and nausea caused by motion sickness due to the windy road.

Today being Mother’s Day as well, we decided to stop over at Seremban Malaysia for the special baked marmite crab, Seremban’s specialty. We had chilled coconuts to drink and these tasted real good as they were well chilled. The flesh was thick and meaty. We had two orders of crabs, with the minimum for each order being 1kg. The crabs tasted very fresh and good The second order of steamed crabs were cooked to perfection as well. Total bill including 2 plates of vegetables and a Thai-style chicken cost RM140. This shop now has the signboard “The Seafood Village Restaurant” and we were there from 1300 hrs to 1555 hrs enjoying the baked crab and steamed crabs. WOW! A three hour lunch!

Next stop was Tesco Malacca where we did some Malaysia shopping from 1650 hrs – 1830 hrs before heading for Johor. We decided to stop over at an eating place called Moon’s CafĂ© to have a bite before going back into Singapore. The food was not too bad and the prices reasonable. We enjoyed a slow dinner from 2100 hrs - 2230 hrs.

After a filling dinner, we proceeded to Woodlands Causeway and it was smooth sailing at the Malaysian end of the Causeway. It was a breeze getting through the Malaysia immigration.

However, as we were travelling towards Singapore along the Causeway, there was a long queue and we finally arrived into Singapore after 45 minutes.
